Devine Investment, a 2003 California bred horse by Dixie Dot Com out of
Our Prized Lady, by Prized broke his maiden 11/30/2008 at Los Alamitos. Nicknamed "Peppy" by the Johnstons, this
colt was special to us at birth. His mother died while foaling and Peppy was lucky enough to find a nurse mare. An Arabian
mare named "Thing" nursed Peppy and was his mom for 5 months. Thing had lost her foal during foaling and thanks
to her owner, Tammy Martin of Martin Performance Horses, Peppy had a mother. Peppy ran second several times before breaking
his maiden and he was third in his last start against winners in January 2009. He has now won 4 races at Los Alamitos.
